Weekend: Films and vultures

Wild yonder

The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour brings a slate of outdoor adventure films to the Colonial Theatre, 227 Bridge St., Phoenixville. Films are shown at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Enjoy the show

The State Theatre, 453 Northampton St., Easton, presents Barrage, a celebration of fiddle music that features contemporary world music and dance. Show time is 7:30 tonight. Tickets are $25.

Irish tenor Ronan Tynan performs at 8 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $40 and $45.

One Night of Queen, a tribute to the music of Queen, takes the stage at 8 p.m. March 11. Tickets are $25 and $30.

Spin on tradition

The marching band tradition of America’s top historically black colleges and universities, including steppers and dancers, is brought to the stage in “DRUMLine Live” at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Zoellner Arts Center, 420 E. Packer Ave., Bethlehem. Tickets are $26 and $32. Call (610) 758-2787.

Sunday is Charter Day, the anniversary of King Charles II granting a land charter to William Penn in 1681. Head for mountains

Friendly vulture



Vultures are often been associated with sinister scenes of death and gothic horror. The East Coast Vulture Festival is out to change that image, from 1 to 10 p.m. Saturday in Wenonah, N.J. Entertainment and education activities will be held in the afternoon at the Wenonah Community Center, East Mantua Avenue and North East Avenue, and in the evening at Wenonah Elementary School, 200 N.
