The ALS Association invites you to "Hot Chocolate: Take a Bigger Bite out of Chocolate!" from 6:30 to 9:30 tonight at the Adventure Aquarium, 1 Aquarium Drive, Camden, N.J. The chocolate tasting, with chocolate martini bar, chocolate fountains and hot chocolate, will take place in the ballroom and Shark Realm. Cost is $75, $150 including the VIP reception. LA Theatre Works presents "War of the Worlds" and "The Lost World" at 8 p.m. Friday at the Zoellner Arts Center, 420 E. Packer Ave., Bethlehem. Both are presented as radio plays. The 1938 Orson Welles adaptation of "War of the Worlds" set the events in the United States and caused a nationwide panic in 1938 when listeners thought they were hearing a news broadcast of a Martian invasion. In Arthur Conan Doyle's "The Lost World," Professor Challenger leads an expedition through a remote jungle to discover a place where dinosaurs live with ape-men, and the fate of the human race hangs in the balance.
