The West Coast rock sound, according to American Music Theatre's new show "California Soul," includes the sounds of The Eagles, Crosby Stills & Nash, The Beach Boys and The Grateful Dead. Women aid women

Concerts for a Cure presents MaryBeth Hammer and Heidi Winzinger under the stars from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday at the Pomeroy Heights Manor, 3 Washington Lane, Coatesville. Proceeds go toward HPV and cervical cancer related programing. Tickets are $20 and include a light dinner. Sporting chance

The Philadelphia Cup, a polo match sponsored by the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce, will be held Sunday at Brandywine Polo, 232 Polo Road, off Route 1 at the Toughkenamon exit (south of Kennett Square). The Celtic Fling and Highland Games take place Friday night with the pre-Fling concert at 7 p.m. (gates open at 5). The newest exhibit at the DaVinci Science Center, 3145 Hamilton Boulevard Bypass, Allentown, is "Cool Moves." On view through Sept. 6, "Cool Moves" fosters an appreciation for the beauty of motion that takes place around you every day. Party on the deck

From 5 to 8 p.m. today, the top level of the parking deck at Eighth and Linden streets, Allentown, will be transformed into a party destination, featuring live music by UUU, local artists, entertainment by local comedians from the Associated Mess and food. Worth a look

Through Sept. 5, the Allentown Art Museum, 31 N. Fifth St., Allentown, presents "Myths, Religion and Ritual: Indian Art from the Koblenzer Collection."
